How It Works
Police Officer swipes the offender’s driver’s license on the mobile device retrieving information stored on the license.
A query is then sent through our NCITE servers to NCIC for outstanding warrants and past convictions. The NCITE database is also queried for current information regarding the offender that might not exist in NCIC.
Once the ticket has been created, it is sent to NCITE’s secure servers.
Administrators at the police department can then access it via our web-based ticket management system. From there, they can review the ticket, flag it, mark it for export, and/or add notes.
Once a ticket is marked for export, it is delivered to the courthouse. We will work with you during the initial set up phase to integrate NCITE into your desired workflow for delivering tickets to the courthouse.
When a ticket has been disposed of in court, data is then sent back to NCITE marking the ticket as resolved.
